HERE ARE SOME MSG FACTOIDS:
- A white crystalline compound, COOH(CH2)2CH(NH2)COONa, used as a flavor enhancer in foods.
- A salt of glutamic acid; it is used as a flavor enhancer in foods, an aplication that may cause Chinese restaurant syndrome in sensitive people, and used intravenously as an adjunct in treating encephalopathies associated with liver disease.
- Chinese res·tau·rant syndrome: a group of symptoms (as numbness of the neck, arms, and back with headache, dizziness, and palpitations) that is held to affect susceptible persons eating food and especially Chinese food heavily seasoned with monosodium glutamate
-Medicinally used to reduce ammonia levels in blood and tissues in ammoniacal azotemia (as in hepatic insufficiency)
- The Slow Poisoning of America. In hundreds of studies around the world, scientists were creating obese mice. and rats to use in diet or diabetes test studies.
No strain of rat or mice is naturally obese, so the scientists have to create them. They make these morbidly obese creatures by injecting them with MSG when they are first born. The MSG triples the amount of insulin the pancreas creates, causing rats (and humans?) to become obese

- MSG paves the way to Alzheimer's disease. It does permanent brain damage ! Haven't you ever wondered why our kids today can't learn in school the way they use to, and why they have so many learning and behavioral problems today?
